Alissa's tapestry-inspired block

I had a lot of fun making this block for you, Alissa! I wrote a bit about it on my blog today. Hope you like it. I really can't wait to see how your quilt turns out.

I was pretty literal with my interpretation on this one.  hope you like it, it's on it's way.

it's not quite 12 inches wide (I think it's 9in), I hope you can add a strip to the side.
